Vet Bed / Dry Bed – Non-Slip – Charcoal Bees | Washable Pet Bedding NZ

Busy bees on top, serious grip underneath. 🐝 This non-slip vet bed scatters cheerful bees across a soft charcoal 28mm pile, and the rubber backing keeps it in place on tile, timber and laminate, so your dog's bed stays exactly where you put it.

Our Vet Bed / Dry Bed – Non-Slip – Charcoal Bees pairs a fun, summery print with a practical dark base. The charcoal background hides muddy paws and everyday wear between washes, while the bees add a bit of personality to the lounge, the crate, the car or the show bench.

This is genuine UK non slip vet bedding, cut to size here in New Zealand. The rubberised non slip backing grips hard floors and slippery surfaces, so the bed doesn't slide out from under your dog or bunch up in the corner of the crate. The 28mm deep pile gives plenty of cushioning for senior dogs, dogs recovering from surgery, or any dog that likes a soft spot to settle.

The pile wicks moisture away from your dog's coat and skin while holding onto warmth, so they stay warm and cosy and dry after a wet walk, a bath or an accident. It's non-allergenic, non-toxic and non-irritant, and doesn't support bacterial growth or fleas.

For whelping, it doubles as whelping fleece. Liquid passes through to whatever's underneath (newspaper, towels or puppy pads), keeping puppies dry, and the grip helps them get up on their feet. It's machine washable at up to 30°C and easy to clean, because the interwoven fabric gives dirt nowhere to hide.

FAQs

Q: What does the Charcoal Bees dry bed look like? A: It's a charcoal-grey 28mm pile printed with bees, with a rubberised non-slip backing underneath.

Q: How thick is this non-slip vet bed? A: It has a 28mm deep pile, which is our standard pile, giving good cushioning and warmth.

Q: What is a non-slip vet bed? A: It's vet bedding with a rubberised backing that grips the floor, so it stays in place on hard floors and slippery surfaces instead of sliding or bunching up.

Q: What's the difference between Greenback and Non-Slip dry bed? A: Greenback has a tear-resistant fabric backing and washes up to 80°C, so it suits kennels and heavy use. Non-Slip has a rubber backing that grips hard floors and washes up to 30°C, so it's ideal for home, travel and senior dogs.

Q: How do I wash my non-slip dry bed? A: Machine or hand wash at a maximum of 30°C. Washing hotter can damage the rubber backing. Skip the fabric softener, as it clogs the pile and reduces how well it wicks moisture.

Q: Is this suitable for puppies and whelping? A: Yes. It works as whelping fleece. The pile keeps puppies warm and dry, liquid passes through to bedding underneath, and the non-slip grip helps them get up on their feet.

Q: Where is this dry bed made? A: It's UK vet bedding, imported by Thorncombe Pet Supplies and cut to size here in New Zealand.
