Vet Bed / Dry Bed – Greenback – Hot Pink with Black & White Paws | Washable Moisture-Wicking Dog Bedding NZ

Bold, bright and built for the kennel. 🐾 This Hot Pink dry bed scatters black and white paw prints across a soft 28mm pile, backed by the hard-wearing, moisture-wicking greenback your dog's crate, kennel or whelping box needs.

Our Vet Bed / Dry Bed – Greenback – Hot Pink with Black & White Paws is for anyone who likes their dog gear with a bit of personality. The vivid hot pink stands out in a row of show crates, so your dog's bed is easy to spot at a busy show, and the black and white paw prints make it a fun backdrop for puppy photos before they head off to their new homes.

Underneath the colour, this is genuine UK vet bedding, cut to size here in New Zealand, and it does everything good vet bedding should. The 28mm deep pile gives your dog plenty of cushioning between them and a hard kennel floor or crate tray. It wicks moisture away from your dog's coat and skin while holding onto warmth, so they stay dry and cosy after a wet walk, a bath or an accident.

The durable green backing resists tearing and holds up well to digging, scratching and dogs who like to rearrange their bedding. It's non-allergenic, non-toxic and non-irritant, and doesn't support bacterial growth or fleas, which makes it a hygienic choice for whelping puppies, senior dogs, and dogs recovering from surgery.

Liquid passes straight through the open weave to whatever's underneath (newspaper, towels or puppy pads work well), keeping your dog's side dry, and the texture gives puppies good grip to get up on their feet. Machine or hand washable up to 80°C, so it handles regular hot washes in busy kennels and multi-dog homes.

Why owners love it: a tough, hot-washable dry bed in a bright colour that's easy to find at shows and fun in photos.

Why dogs love it: it's soft, warm and dry to lie on, wherever you put it.

FAQs

Q: What does the Hot Pink Paws dry bed look like? A: It's a bright hot pink 28mm pile printed with black and white paw prints, over a tear-resistant greenback backing.

Q: How thick is this dry bed? A: It has a 28mm deep pile, which is our standard pile, giving good cushioning and warmth.

Q: Is greenback vet bed safe for puppies and whelping? A: Yes. It's non-allergenic, non-toxic and non-irritant, and doesn't support bacterial growth or fleas. Liquid passes through to bedding underneath, helping keep puppies dry, and the pile gives them grip to stand and move.

Q: What's the difference between Greenback and Non-Slip dry bed? A: Greenback has a tear-resistant fabric backing and washes up to 80°C, so it suits kennels, crates and heavy use. Non-Slip has a rubber backing that grips hard floors and washes up to 30°C, so it's better for tiles and timber at home.

Q: Will the hot pink fade in the wash? A: Wash at no more than 80°C and skip fabric softener and bleach to keep the colour and pile in good condition. Frequent very hot washes can soften bright colours over time, so use a cooler wash when you don't need a full sanitising cycle.

Q: Where is this dry bed made? A: It's UK vet bedding, imported by Thorncombe Pet Supplies and cut to size here in New Zealand.

Care and safety note

Machine or hand wash at a maximum of 80°C. Leave out fabric softener and bleach, as softener clogs the pile and stops it wicking properly. Air dry or tumble dry on low. Place a towel, newspaper or puppy pad underneath during whelping or toilet training to catch liquid that passes through. Cut to size from large rolls, so it arrives without retail packaging.
