Q: Is this overkill for a well-behaved dog?

Honestly? Maybe. If your dog walks loose-lead, ignores passing dogs, and lives a calm urban life, a standard lead is fine. But if you ever wish you could pull your dog in right now, the traffic handle is worth the upgrade — and once you've used one, you don't go back.

Q: What's the difference between this and a standard two-tone lead?

Two things: the second handle near the clip, and the slightly longer 1.5m length. Otherwise same construction, same BioThane®, same hardware options.

Q: How do I choose two colours?

If in doubt: one bold, one neutral. Try a bright accent (Magenta, Caribbean Green, Passion Pink, Orange) paired with a grounding tone (Powder Tan, Coyote Brown, Black, Sage). Or go tonal — two shades from the same family.
