Q: Can I use a slip lead for everyday walks?

Yes for trained dogs that don't pull. For hard pullers, we recommend a standard lead clipped to a Y-front harness — slip leads tighten when a dog pulls, which is fine for trained dogs but can be uncomfortable for pullers.

Q: How is a slip lead different from a standard lead?

A slip lead is one continuous loop — no clip, no collar required. You slide it over the dog's head, the loop tightens gently when they pull, and it loosens when they walk calmly. Faster to put on, no extra gear required.
