FAQs

Q: When is 1.8m better than 1.2m?

If you're tall (above 175cm), if you prefer walking with your dog a stride ahead rather than at heel, or if you do a lot of relaxed park walks where you want a bit more sniff-room without going to a full long line.

Q: Is 1.8m too long for road walking?

Not if you handle it right — gather the slack in loops and hold the lead at your usual length near roads, then let it out in safer spaces. A longer lead gives you flexibility a shorter one can't.

Q: Does the two-tone construction add stiffness?

A little, for the first week or so. Like a new pair of work boots, it breaks in fast and softens with use. After a couple of dozen walks you won't notice.
