Q: Is a slip lead suitable for everyday walking?

Best for calm, trained dogs that don't pull hard. For hard pullers, use a regular lead clipped to a Y-front harness — slip leads tighten on a dog's neck when they pull, which is fine for trained dogs but uncomfortable for pullers.

Q: Who is the 1.5m length best for?

Professional handlers, trainers, dog walkers, groomers — anyone managing multiple dogs or training drills where you need more length than a 1.2m. Also good for nervous dogs who need a little personal space from their handler.

Q: How do I fit a slip lead correctly?

Slide it over your dog's head with the loop sitting high — just behind the ears, where the neck is strongest and most responsive. Not low down by the shoulders. A correctly fitted slip lead is more comfortable and more effective.
