The soft grey base hides everyday wear between washes, and the pink hearts and white paws make it a lovely backdrop for puppy photos, especially girls' litters, before they head off to their new homes.

Underneath the print, this is genuine UK vet bedding, cut to size here in New Zealand, and it does everything good vet bedding should. The 28mm deep pile gives your dog plenty of cushioning between them and a hard kennel floor or crate tray. It wicks moisture away from your dog's coat and skin while holding onto warmth, so they stay dry and cosy after a wet walk, a bath or an accident.

The durable green backing resists tearing and holds up well to digging, scratching and dogs who like to rearrange their bedding. It's non-allergenic, non-toxic and non-irritant, and doesn't support bacterial growth or fleas, which makes it a hygienic choice for whelping puppies, senior dogs, and dogs recovering from surgery.

Liquid passes straight through the open weave to whatever's underneath (newspaper, towels or puppy pads work well), keeping your dog's side dry, and the texture gives puppies good grip to get up on their feet.
