If a 5m feels like too much line to manage and a 1.2m feels like a leash, the 3m long line is your answer. It's the sweet spot for sniff walks, controlled off-lead practice, and dogs who are 95% recall-reliable but not quite there yet.

The built-in handle gives you an instant grab point at the far end — useful when your dog locks onto a scent across the paddock and you need to gather line fast. The 16mm BioThane® feels grippy even when wet, with none of the rope-burn risk of a heavy cord long line.

Q: Should I get a 3m or a 5m long line?

Start with a 3m if you're new to long lines, walking in busier spots, or have a smaller dog. Upgrade to a 5m once you and your dog are confident — more length means more room for sniffing and recall practice, but more line to manage.

Q: Why choose 'with handle' over 'no handle'?

With-handle gives you a familiar grip at the end of the line — useful for owners new to long-line training, for shorter handlers who want a fast grab point, or for anywhere you need to lock down quickly (sudden bike, off-lead dog, parked car).

Q: Will the BioThane® get tangled?

Less than rope, cord, or nylon. BioThane® is smooth and a little stiff, so it tends to lie flat rather than coiling around your dog's legs. The handle does add a snag risk in dense bush — choose 'no handle' if you walk in scrub a lot.
