FAQs

Q: Is a 3m long line long enough for recall training?

Yes — 3m is the recommended starting length for most recall work in NZ. It gives your dog enough room to fail recalls (so you can correct them) while keeping the line manageable for you. Move to 5m once you're both consistent.

Q: Won't the line get muddy without a handle?

It can — but BioThane® doesn't care. Mud, sand, salt water, even cow pat all wipe straight off with a damp cloth. That's the whole point of choosing BioThane® over leather or nylon for a long line.

Q: Can I clip a separate handle on later?

Yes — our BioThane® Traffic Handle clips straight onto the line via the trigger snap if you want a temporary grip point. Best of both worlds.
